The Olympia Mountaineers is the South Sound connection to The Mountaineers, a Northwest tradition over one hundred years in the making. We invite you to join the Olympia branch for hiking, skiing, sea kayaking, snowshoeing, backpacking, and climbing. For over 45 years the branch has offered activities and classes based locally in the South Sound. As a branch member, you can get out and explore with a community of adventurers from the South Sound and all over the Northwest. We are outdoor enthusiasts and environmentalists looking for adventure with a goal of preserving and enjoying all the wilderness that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Branch meetings are held quarterly.
